Katchall has teamed up with Advanced Building Technologies and uses their TF-14 Preformed Trench Units exclusively. Trust me--we've tried the others over the past 7-years, but have always gone back to the ABT units.
The unique (patented) U-shaped bottom radius substanually increased the flow capacities and thus their ability to handle larger volumes of water than competing products.
ABT exclusively recommends both the Katchall Antimicrobial filtration media and Mixed Media filtration devices over every other competing product, i.e. Ab-Tech Smart Sponge, Clear Stream Technologies, and Clear Water Technologies.
We recommend the use of specially modified Katchall pre-entry trash nets on all trench drainage systems, dramatically reducing the debris allowed to enter and foul the filtration medias. Use of the Katchall pre-entry trash nets substanually extends the life of the filtration medias and reduces your annual maintenance costs.
Horizontal filtration weirs are placed inside the trench (below the grates and trash nets), providing 100% positive filtration of discharges along the entire length of the throat openings.
